The ISM Logistics and Transportation group is proud to join the Southwest Forum at the 62nd Annual Southwest Supply Management Conference September 24th-26th 2008 at the Dallas/Plano Marriott.
We strongly encourage all members of our group to consider attending this outstand event, The conference will have a track dedicated to Logistics and transportation issues that include the following sessions:
1. What Every Importer Should Know About the Legal Aspects of Compliance.
2. Inbound Logistics: Risk, Uncertainty, and Roadblocks.
3. Strategically Sourcing Transportation: Competition vs. Cooperation.
4. Inland Ports: A Recent Innovation Improving The Supply Chain.
5. The Future of Logistics as a Career Field.
Also there is a full day session entitled “International and Intermodal Cargo Traffic Management”.
The Logistics and Transportation sessions will be led by some of the nations most respected experts in our industry including Tom Tanel, David Jacoby and Dr. Ted Faris.
